Of course I am talking about a master bedroom re-decorate! Back when I built my house 6 years ago, I wanted rich bedding in jewel tones with lots of trims and patterns something with a very ecclectic feel. So, that's what I did. And now....this is what I want! I bed that tempts you to jump right in the middle of it, a bed that my kids can come snuggle and watch a movie in, something a little less "stuffy"! As I take off my 100 beaded and trimmed pillows every night I think to myself "this is not me"! Kind of like when you see a family dressed to the nines for a photo and they look like they want to jump out of their own skin and you know they are really a jeans and t-shirt kinda family. Well I want a bed that feels like my favorite jeans (holey Lucky's I have had for 4 or 5 years, but can't part with) and my v neck baby soft tee from no other than Target! I just need to convince my husband that a white fluffy bed is manly, and convince him that I need his help re-plastering the walls. Can a girl put that on her Christmas list?

I know exactly what you mean about "not being you". I love quilts and went to different bedding for several years. It just wasn't me!! I am now back to my beloved quilts on my bed and they are so comfy, cozy and warm and ME!!!!
well to help you out i would love to take your old bed spread and pillows off your hands so you wouldn't feel guilty about a new one ( it sounds like it is right up my alley...beaded and trimmed pillows, YUMMY)! it would be like a act of charity:) Good luck...Christmas is around the corner, treat yourself.
