Slowly But Surely...

After staining the concrete on my back patio and buying new furniture last summer... I was done. I don't know maybe it was the stain fumes but I had hit a decorators block. Until today! I don't know maybe it was the sunshine and the birds singing but I went crazy. I tore through closets, out buildings, my garage, gathered all I could find and threw this together. (and didn't spend a dime I might add) I finally found a use for my grandfathers old tool box (that's it with the gloves and seed packets) all in all I am pretty happy with the outcome except I definately need a tree for the corner and so I am off to hunt one down..Have a creative day, Paula

Thank you for your sweet comment! Talking to you always makes me feel better. I think when you loose someone close to you it always makes you take a step back and appreciate your friends and family!

I just want to make some lavender tea and grab my Cottage Living magazine and have a seat on your back porch! It looks so incredible and comfy! That just adds square footage to your house for sure! I need you to keep brainstorming on ideas for my sunroom! Have a fun day!

Love,
Amy

LOVE IT!!!! What a fabulous patio. I have the same OCD problem..lol. I have been known to move things a 1/4 of an inch because it looked better. Maybe even an 1/8..lol Thanks for your sweet comments on my living room. I found the cloche at Kirklands. They had them on clearance last month. It came in a box with a fake flower (terribly ugly) I threw everything else away and tada. Check them out. They may have some left. I think they were about $9. Have a great day, Heather

Wow this look great. I found your blog through Aimee. How did you stain your concrete? Is it regular concrete stain or something else? I have been wanting to do the same to my patio but don't know where to start.
